Let's face it....Sex in the movies, it's not real!

O.k don't freak out! Of course sex in the movies is not real because they are acting for the camera and they usually don't have an intimate connection with each other. This topic has been on my mind lately about how sex in the movies makes it look so romantic and how everything goes smoothly...pfft! Give me a break! Yes, sex is supposed to be an intimate adventure between a Husband and Wife and you have that connection and bond between each other that makes you stronger as a couple as well as it makes you love your spouse more but let's face it, things happen and there are a lot of things that the movies don't tell you about sex.
1. It's messy!
~Be prepared to clean up after! Don't fall asleep right after sex like they do in the movies, because it's messy and you don't want to have to change your sheets every time you have sex!

2. You're body can make weird noises!
~Yes, it's not all quiet, your stomach can growl, you may burp or fart (depending on what you just ate before having sex). It may not be attractive at all but it's funny and you just have to laugh. Don't be embarrassed!

3. You don't always get turned on at the same time!
~ If you have heard "Women are like crockpot's and Men are like light switches," it can be true! Woman can take time to heat up. Take it slow and enjoy it.

4. It can be awkward...and it can hurt. Just sayin'
~Yes, that's right, it can be awkward! This kind of ties into #2 about how your body can make weird noises. Trying new positions, or you forgot to put deodorant on...oops! If you can get past these awkward stages, you're good to go! There are days where it can hurt and it can totally be a turn off. Relax and enjoy!

Making love to each other is another great blessing that God has blessed us with to be able to share it with your spouse. Try something new, spice up your marriage and just have fun.

I can't believe I just wrote that and I have only been married for 8 months...I have learned a lot and I will continue to learn more and more.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
